Icon, a sermon series for The Village Church, was ambitious from the start. How do you communicate the belief that humans are made in “the image of God” without sounding too self-important, but not bold enough to express true belief.
I wrote a script that helped us show the difference between humans and a creator, while also making the case that there is something unique, profound, and mysterious happening with the human race.
The “small,” with all of its limitations, still somehow represents the “great.”
